As a registered nutritionist, mBANT, I aim to provide nutritional education and raise awareness of the importance of gut health through monthly workshops where you will also learn how to make your own fermented vegetables to support immune health. The workshops are given in the relaxed atmosphere of my own kitchen.
Workshops are on hold at the moment while we are building the new Gut Culture HQ in Skåne, Sweden.
Gut Health and Fermentation
Did you know that around 80% of your immune system resides in your gut?
Having a healthy gut is crucial to your well-being. It’s the home of 100 trillions of bacteria, an eco system in charge of many vital tasks to keep your body healthy. If they are not treated well and kept in balance, you are not going to feel your best. Common symptoms of an imbalance include allergies, bloating, heartburn, eczema, asthma, depression, low energy, PMS, sinus congestion etc.
In this workshop we’ll talk about the importance of the gut microbiome in health and disease and what you can do to help improve it. We’ll eat some gut friendly snacks and get our hands wet making fermented vegetables. which you’ll be able to bring with you home to cultivate.
